God Winks--

A God Wink is a message of reassurance coming when you most need it;  when you're at a crossroads in your life, and when instability is all around.  It might be said, in fact, that coincidences are the best way for God to establish a perpetual presence in your life.

Think about it.  If you were God and wanted to communicate with human beings without using human voice, how would you do it?  You might perform little miracles, wouldn't you?  You'd create little miracles, like coincidences, that cause people to say, "What are the odds of this ever happening?"  Those are God Winks.

Aren't we all looking for that little bit of reassurance in our lives?  All we have to do is recognize that God Winks and coincidences happen to us every day.  Our view of life is limited.  We go from day to day, looking at one puzzle piece at a time.  But there is another perspective.  All the pieces do fit into a plan that could only have been created by a higher power, then all things ARE possible.

Free will is yours.  You can choose to live up to your potential or you can choose another path.  Make a wish, believe in yourself and your beliefs and let God Wink!

Don't follow the crowd.  Be yourself.  Believe in something.

I hope you never dismiss your little signs, your winks from God, which are being placed along your path for a reason.  Don't look the other way when God is winking at you!

I love you guys!

Study of Prayer

If prayer is not addressed to God, it is not prayer.  Acknowledge that his will is best.  The main ingredient to prayer is listening.  When is the last time you heard God speak?  What does it take for you to really listen to God?

Speak the truth in love.  Out of the abundance of our heart, our mouth speaks.

Pray first
Aim high
Stay focused

Choose to listen to your heart...it is God speaking.

...gotta love that Brother Ken!

love to all my students!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  Love you bunches!

Thursday, December 15, 2005

Hey, everyone...I haven't updated in a while.  Things have been crazy for a month or so around here.  Let's see...Thanksgiving was just wonderful.  I loved having my daughter home.  I am so proud of her because she made all A's and B's for the first semester at Auburn.  She worked hard and it shows!  Things have been a little stressful for the Brewer household, but God is good and he is here for us.  I keep telling myself to put it all in his hands.  I do not know what is going to happen next year, but I do know that wherever Brittany goes, she will be successful.

Christopher is doing awesome in school as well.  He was a "stud" in the Christmas parade with those HIGH SCHOOL quads!  Go, Christopher!  He finished all of his exams, and I do believe he will have all A's for the second nine weeks.  He was trying to make all 100's AGAIN, but I told him to just do his best...that is all I ask.  He is so hard on himself, I don't have to say anything to the poor guy! haha...I love my kids...can you tell?

We went to Attache last Saturday.  They were awesome as always!  Shout out to all of them from Ms. B!  ...maybe Christopher will want to try out...who knows?  He loves his baseball, though.  It was strange not seeing Brittany up there with Attache, but life goes on...

Continue to Pray for Timothy's family.  I am going to miss him in my first period class...he kept things interesting in there!  I will miss you, Tim, and I will forever remember the nice things you said to me Tuesday...God be with you, sweetie.

Any of you kids that need to talk, you know where I am.  I hope everyone has a joyous holiday and a MERRY CHRISTMAS!  Love you bunches!
